Frequently Asked Questions

What are the therapeutic benefits according to clinical research and how does it work?

  • A rise in core temperature is required to ensure you achieve the deepest detoxifying sweat. Our infrared saunas show in clinical tests, a rise in core temperature by almost 3 degrees in a 30 minute session and remained elevated for another 30 minutes.

  • Rather than simply heating the air in the room around you, our technology will heat up your body internally to assist in removing your toxins.

  • Infrared is also used in hospitals to help newborn babies in maintaining body heat.

How is a regular sauna different from an Infrared?

  • Infrared is ideally designed to operate at a lower and safer temperature compared to conventional dry saunas. This helps make breathing more comfortable and is considered safer, for this reason infrared therapy a better alternative for a greater number of people.

  • Our infrared systems operates at only 40°C to 65°C compared to a regular sauna which operates at 75°C to 98°C

  • Radiant heat from an infrared sauna helps the body produce 2-3x more sweat

Why is infrared heat technology is more efficient than a conventional sauna?

  • The energy output is primarily used to convert energy directly to heat inside the body and not to create excessively hot air which then only superficially heats the skin.

  • This type of heat is absorbed by your body to a depth of over 1.5 inches below the skin.

  • Burn more calories; you burn up to 600 or more calories in just one 30-minute session. This deep heat helps blood vessels dilate, bringing relief and healing to muscle and soft tissue injuries.

Europe

  • Infrared heat is widely used to treat patients suffering from many forms of arthritis.

Japan

  • Infrared therapy in Japan has been effective for relief of pain associated with backache, bursitis, fibromyalgia, headache, sprains, strains and many other muscular-skeletal ailments. Much of the stiffness and soreness that comes with aging is reduced or eliminated.

Did you know that the term “infrared” in infrared sauna is used to describe the light energy that heats the body from within?

One way we can measure this energy is with an EMF value, also known as the electric and magnetic field value.

As awareness of the effects of EMF has grown, we worked with our manufacturer to ensure our machines have the lowest EMF reading on the market. At the point of body contact, our EMF level is as low as 0.3 milligauss, exceeding Swedish Standards!

We want to ensure that our machines are accessible to everyone, including our cancer patients so everyone can enjoy a healthy and healing infrared experience!

What do I need to bring with me to an appointment?
