Ayurvedic Medicine with Mamta

By virtue of her cultural heritage, Mamta was brought up to incorporate food, lifestyle, yoga and spirituality in achieving health and healing. Mamta continues to expand and enrich her knowledge base by exploring the developing discourse and literature in both traditional and modern clinical sciences. This helps her both appreciate and stay attuned to various perspectives, allowing for an informed and creative holistic approach.

In addition to Ayurvedic Consultations, Mamta offers Abhyanga massage. From an Ayurvedic physiological perspective, the skin is an organ of assimilation and elimination that has a continuous relationship with the gastrointestinal tract, internal organs and the nervous system.

Abhyanga is the external application of therapeutic and rejuvenating oils to the head and body with specific movements to lubricate, soften, release blockages and toxins, and improve lymphatic and cardiac circulation. This helps to prevent premature ageing, improve complexion and relax the body, mind and senses thereby promoting a general sense of acceptance, love and gratitude.

It is also useful in relieving muscle stiffness, sciatica, chronic fatigue, dry skin, constipation/bloating, diseases of the nervous system, tremors, Reynaud’s syndrome, osteoarthritis and various neuromuscular conditions.

Mamta creates authentic Ayurvedic wellness experiences orientated around self-understanding and inner awareness to address individual health concerns. She empathetically guides individuals in consciously making choices conducive to their well-being in order to create harmony across all domains of their lives.

Mamta’s Ayurvedic therapeutic approach is focused on using food as medicine, a personalized herbal protocol, curating a harmonized lifestyle, Abhyanga (oil massages) and other body therapies complemented with appropriate yoga asanas, pranayama, contemplative and restorative practices.

Drawing on her professional background in Western healthcare alongside her traditional and experiential Ayurvedic knowledge, Mamta is able to gain deeper insights into the root causes of health issues that may be overlooked by conventional methods. She envisions a collaborative and integrative approach, leveraging the best of modern and traditional medicine systems to ensure safe and effective holistic health outcomes.
